Under general supervision, provides ski valet services to hotel guests, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort by promptly and courteously assisting with ski equipment retrieval, storage, and transportation. Assist guests with all ski-related needs and provide exceptional service for an elevated mountain experience.Oversee and act as a lead to the Ski Valet staff ensuring highest levels of guest satisfactions and flow of procedures.
• Meet and greet all guests upon arrival with ski equipment or other winter gear.
• Assist guests in unloading their ski equipment from vehicles and safely storing it.
• Properly tag and track each guest’s ski equipment, ensuring no damage during transport or storage.
• Help guests retrieve their ski equipment when requested, offering courteous service and timely responses.
• Provide directions to ski lifts, lockers, and other hotel amenities related to winter sports.
• Assist in keeping ski equipment storage areas organized, clean, and free from hazards.
• Offer general information and recommendations regarding local skiing conditions, mountain trails, and resort activities.
• Respond to guest questions or concerns about ski rentals, lessons, and local winter activities.
• Ensure all guest ski equipment is handled with care and returned promptly.
• Help maintain a welcoming environment for guests, offering assistance whenever needed in the public areas of the hotel.
• Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm when interacting with guests.
• Continuously pursue training and development opportunities, especially in areas related to ski valet service, guest satisfaction, and local ski knowledge.
• Take initiative to offer improvement ideas and recognize the good performance of others.
• Utilize empowerment to exceed guest expectations and resolve issues effectively.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
Education/Formal Training
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience
At least two years in the hotel industry.
