Job Overview

Sage Hospitality is seeking a strategic, detail-driven Reservations Manager to temporarily act as a Revenue Analyst for a limited portfolio of hotels while maintaining oversight of our third-party call center operations. The role will have this hybrid approach for the remainder of 2025.

In 2026, this role will expand into optimizing centralized distribution and CRS performance. This will include ownership of SynXis configuration, distribution parity audits, and the development of best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and revenue contribution across all channels.

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless reservations processing, consistency across distribution channels, and maximizing revenue through effective channel management.

Responsibilities

Call Center Oversight & Vendor Management (Primary)

  1. Manage day-to-day performance of third-party call center partners to ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance, accurate call handling, and optimal conversion rates.
  2. Act as the primary liaison between Sage and outsourced call center vendors to resolve service issues, align on scripting, and enforce brand standards.
  3. Monitor call quality, provide performance feedback, and implement training protocols as needed.
  4. Produce and analyze call center reporting for opportunities to improve customer experience, maximize booking efficiency, and ensure forecast accuracy.
  5. Conduct monthly billing audits and submit reporting for property level billing in conjunction with the corporate accounting team.

Revenue Management Analyst (Temporary)

  1. Monitor and interpret demand data, competitive set trends, and event calendars to develop pricing and inventory strategies that maximize RevPAR.
  2. Manage daily rate, restriction, and inventory decisions across all channels, ensuring alignment with transient, group, and catering strategies.
  3. Contribute to accurate forecasts by producing performance reports and identifying risks/opportunities to drive revenue and market share growth.
  4. Partner with hotel leaders and cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations) to align strategies and present actionable insights.
  5. Audit systems and implement best practices to enhance revenue management processes and system accuracy.

Centralized Distribution & SynXis CRS Management (Future)

  1. Monitor and troubleshoot CRS configuration, rate loading, room types, restrictions, and promotional setup in SynXis for the Independent Hotel portfolio.
  2. Collaborate with revenue, marketing, and property teams to align SynXis content and availability across all distribution platforms.
  3. Troubleshoot system errors, booking discrepancies, and data mapping issues across GDS, OTAs, and internal channels.
  4. Monitor inventory to ensure parity across channels and maximize occupancy while avoiding overbooking.
  5. Generate and interpret SynXis reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

  • Strong SynXis CRS expertise and understanding of GDS/OTA connectivity strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing third-party call centers or leading vendor relationships strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Familiarity with Branded and Independent revenue management tools/systems (RMS, CRS, PMS) strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities (knowledge of BI platforms like Power BI a plus).
