The 3000-square foot North Bethesda restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the Canopy by Hilton Hotel (940 Rose Avenue, Bethesda) boasting 138 seats including a 26-seat Tea Room and the patio’s 40-foot Delta Deadrise boat bar consisting of 23 seats which is scheduled to open in mid-late March
Lead and oversee daily bar operations with a strong emphasis on hospitality, beverage execution, and
associate development. The Bar Manager is responsible for delivering thoughtful, consistent, and
elevated bar experiences while maintaining operational excellence, compliance, and financial
accountability. This role balances hands-on leadership behind the bar with ownership of service
standards, training, and beverage execution. You are an ambassador of happiness and hospitality for all guests and associates.
Education/Formal Training
Bartending training and certification, TIPS Certified
Experience
1-2 Yrs. experience bartending in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of guest service principles and bar operations.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and beverage program management.
• Certifications in beer, wine, and/or spirits preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, associates, and leadership in both verbal and written
forms.
• Ability to read and interpret schedules, instructions, orders, and financial documents.
• Manual coordination to grasp items, use bar tools, and carry trays with beverages and glassware.Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
