Job Overview

The Treasury Analyst supports daily treasury operations, including bank and merchant account administration, property transition support, and timely responses to cross-functional requests from internal teams, property teams, and external banking and merchant partners. This role is responsible for coordinating treasury-related onboarding for new properties, including bank and credit card setups, deadline tracking, documentation, follow-up, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires a self-starter who communicates clearly, follows through consistently, and helps maintain sound internal controls.

Responsibilities

Bank Account Setup and Administration

  • Coordinate all bank account setups for new properties transitioning into the Sage management portfolio, including preparing required documentation, managing partner follow-up, tracking open items, and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Partner with banking providers, internal accounting, finance operations, and property teams to resolve account-related questions and service requests accurately and with appropriate documentation.
  • Investigate banking inquiries from properties and internal teams, determine the purpose and urgency of each request, and identify the appropriate resolution path.
  • Add, update, and maintain user access for banking platforms and security administration, ensuring all required approvals are obtained before changes are completed.

Credit Card Merchant Account Setup and Administration

  • Coordinate credit card merchant account setups for new properties transitioning into the Sage management portfolio, including preparing paperwork, managing external partner timelines, tracking outstanding items, and ensuring equipment and account needs are completed on schedule.
  • Administer merchant account maintenance requests and coordinate with external merchant processing partners to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Assist with merchant account inquiries, including fee updates, DBA changes, account documentation, and related follow-up.
  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to support credit card and merchant account needs during property transitions and ongoing operations.

Additional Property Support and Internal Controls

  • Support bank supply ordering, cash management needs, armored car contracts, and other property banking requirements.
  • Monitor the centralized Treasury email inbox by reviewing incoming requests, prioritizing work, communicating status, and ensuring timely follow-through.
  • Prepare, maintain, and organize treasury reporting, documentation, procedures, and support materials to strengthen consistency and internal controls.
  • Apply critical thinking skill to understand reasons requests are being made, connect related topics, identify missing information, and recommend practical next steps.
  • Respond to corporate accounting, finance operations, property, and vendor inquiries related to treasury needs in a timely, professional, and solutions-oriented manner.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of related professional experience in treasury, accounting, finance operations, banking, merchant services, or a comparable business support function.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ability to learn and implement new software tools as needed.
  • M3, NetSuite, banking platform, merchant processing, or hospitality industry experience is a plus.

  • Organization and prioritization: Ability to plan work, manage deadlines, time block effectively, and track follow-up items through completion. Completes Treasury mailbox requests accurately and within agreed-upon timelines, with appropriate documentation, status updates, and follow-up.
  • Attention to detail: Strong accuracy in documentation, account maintenance, user access updates, and audit support.
  • Critical thinking: Ability to understand the purpose behind requests, connect related issues, identify what information is needed, and determine the appropriate resolution path with increasing independence.
  • Learning agility: Ability to quickly learn complex treasury topics, systems, processes, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ownership and accountability: Self-starter who takes initiative, follows through on assigned tasks, asks informed questions, communicates blockers early, and escalates appropriately when needed.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with accounting, finance operations, HRA, property teams, and external vendors.
  • Communication: Clear, timely, and professional written and verbal communication with internal teams, external partners, and property stakeholders, including proactive updates on status, deadlines, and next steps.

Salary
