The A/V Technician responsible for setting up and operating a variety of audio-visual equipment. It is also
responsible for trouble-shooting any issues and tearing down (striking) equipment post-event.
Education/Formal Training
High school education or equivalent.
Experience
• Previous work at a live music venue, or comparable experience
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of audio and video technology as well as lighting, with a
background in live sound engineering
Knowledge/Skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction and be able to communicate both verbally
and in writing in English.
• High energy level and positive attitude.
• Reliability, honesty, and integrity.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and late hours when necessary.
• Must have the ability to report to work on time and on a regular basis.
