With a focus on service excellence and team contribution, clean and maintain all corridors and public areas in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards and safety and security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction. On the vibrant West Palm Beach waterfront, The Ben blends the warmth of tropical Florida with contemporary Autograph Collection refinement, and this role is central to delivering on that promise. By maintaining the quality and comfort of every guest space, this role upholds the boutique standard that sets The Ben apart.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct routine inspections of assigned floors and public areas at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are maintained.
• Clean and maintain hotel public spaces, including hallways, elevators, stairwells, service areas, and other designated locations, following established cleanliness, safety, and security standards.
• Remove trash, soiled linens, terry, newspapers, and room service trays from guest floors and service areas, transporting materials to designated disposal or laundry locations.
• Stock linen closets, supply rooms, and housekeeping carts to maintain established par levels and support efficient departmental operations.
• Assist Room Attendants with operational needs, including delivering bed boards, rollaway beds, cribs, and other housekeeping equipment.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost and found items, damaged property, or missing hotel assets to the appropriate supervisor.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, providing exceptional service while escalating concerns or complaints as appropriate to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe housekeeping storage areas, service corridors, and workspaces.
• Follow all hotel policies, departmental procedures, and safety regulations while performing assigned duties.
• Support the Housekeeping team with additional operational tasks and special projects as assigned to ensure a clean, welcoming, and exceptional guest environment.

Physical Demands

• Pushing vacuum entire length of hallway, carrying supplies from department to assigned floor, carrying dirty linen to laundry shoot, removing room service trays and carrying dirty dishes to service area.
• Bending/kneeling -dusting requires bending and kneeling to reach all areas. Room service trays are placed on floor for pick up. Bending would be required to retrieve dirty dishes.
• Mobility -movement to reach all areas of responsibility to include: shelves, windows, ledges, pipes, under and around furniture.
• Continuous standing -continuously standing and/or walking to accomplish all that is required for position.
• Climbing stairs -approximately 40 steps 15% of 40 hour week.
